Crystal – Accepting New Clients

Meet Crystal
Hello! I’m Crystal (she/her), and my journey to becoming a therapist is deeply rooted in the transformative power of therapy itself. I’ve personally experienced its life-changing impact, and witnessed its profound positive effects on my family and friends. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without it, and I find that as I help others heal, I also continue to grow and heal myself. As a counselor, the three words that best describe me are Charismatic, Authentic, and Affable. I am currently interning at Stride Forward Counseling, and I am incredibly excited and dedicated to supporting you on your unique healing journey.
My Approach: Blending Insight with Heartfelt Support
My therapeutic approach primarily draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a practical framework that helps you understand how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors, empowering you to make meaningful changes. Alongside this, I also love to incorporate Humanistic techniques, fostering a warm, accepting space where you can explore your potential and build on your strengths. I believe in a collaborative journey, working together to address your unique challenges and build a path towards well-being.
Areas of Focus & Specialization: Connecting, Growing, Thriving
I am passionate about couples counseling, helping partners navigate complexities, improve communication, and strengthen their bonds. I also specialize in working with teens and young adults, guiding them through pivotal life stages, academic pressures, and identity development. Whether you’re facing individual struggles or navigating family dynamics, I’m here to offer support.
I also have extensive experience and deeply enjoy working with:
Anxiety
Trauma
ADHD
Perfectionism

I am comfortable working with clients ages 10 and up, and I am open to all forms of counseling, including individual, couples, family, and group therapy.
Beyond the Therapy Room: Creativity, Craft, and Unique Experiences
When I’m not in the therapy room, my creative spirit truly shines through my love for DIY projects and crafts! From designing and making my sister’s wedding dress to creating a stunning flower wall backdrop for another sister’s baby shower, I find joy in bringing ideas to life with my hands. Fun facts about me: my favorite fruit is the vibrant pomegranate, and one of my most unique experiences was actually walking in New York Fashion Week!
I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on your path to healing and growth.
