Expert Support for Neurodivergent Minds & Recovery Journeys

My name is Jacob (he/him), and I specialize in working with adults who are navigating the complex intersections of ADHD and Addiction Recovery. For me, becoming a therapist was a calling forged through personal experience. My foundational passion for substance use recovery was born from a deep desire to support those battling the cycle of addiction, and today, I am energized by helping individuals turn their struggles into a path of sustainable freedom and focus.

Clinical Focus: ADHD & Executive Functioning

I provide expert support for adults with ADHD, moving beyond simple organization tips to address the emotional and neurological roots of executive dysfunction. I help my clients navigate the shame often associated with neurodivergence, helping them build “brain-friendly” systems that honor how they naturally think. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been struggling for years, we will work to harness your unique strengths while managing the burnout and anxiety that often come with an ADHD brain.

    Specializations List

    • ADHD & Executive Functioning in Adults

    • Substance Use Disorder & Long-term Recovery

    • PTSD & Trauma Recovery

    • Anxiety & Mood Disorders

    • Neuro-Affirming Therapy

    Specialized Addiction Recovery

With a background deeply rooted in substance use disorders, I offer a realistic and empathetic approach to recovery. I understand that addiction doesn’t happen in a vacuum, it is often intertwined with trauma (PTSD), anxiety, and depression. My goal is to help you peel back the layers of your experience to find lasting healing, utilizing evidence-based tools that respect where you are in your journey today.

    My Therapeutic Approach

While I am a person-centered therapist at my core… meaning you are the expert on your own life. I am highly versatile in my clinical application. I draw upon a robust toolkit of evidence-based techniques to suit your specific goals:

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & DBT for emotional regulation.

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore the different “parts” of your history.

    • Solution-Focused & Narrative Therapy to help you rewrite your future.

    A Unique Perspective

My path to clinical work was non-linear, giving me a broad perspective on the human experience. With a background in the Music Business and previous licensing as a Private Investigator, I bring a unique set of skills to the therapy room: critical thinking, keen observation, and the ability to ask the right questions at the right time.

    Outside the Office

When I’m not in the office, I stay grounded through my own passions. I’ve been playing guitar for 16 years, I’m a dedicated fan of fantasy literature (with a regular ritual of rewatching The Lord of the Rings), and I find my best restoration while hiking and camping.

I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you in building the focused, fulfilling life you deserve.
