Is This You?
Are you an overthinker carrying the heavy weight of anxiety, navigating a big life transition, or feeling exhausted from masking in a world that wasn't built for your brain? Maybe you're a neurodivergent teen or adult trying to untangle AuDHD, an LGBTQIA+ individual looking for a truly affirming space to explore your identity, or a couple struggling to break out of painful communication loops. If you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed by high expectations, or simply longing for a space where you don't have to explain away who you are, you’re in the right place. I love working with clients who are ready to drop the mask, gain deeper self-insight, and build a life that feels authentic and sustainable.
My Path to Becoming a Therapist
My love for psychology began in high school, driven by a deep fascination with human behavior and relationships. I started my career as a residential rehab counselor, where I discovered just how powerful one-on-one connection can be in someone's healing journey. That experience inspired me to earn my LCPC so I could deepen my clinical skills and make a meaningful impact right here in my community. Growing up in Columbia and now living in Catonsville, I am deeply passionate about serving the people and families of Maryland.
My Therapeutic Approach
Clients often describe me as passionate, genuine, and perceptive. I take a holistic, person-centered approach, meaning we work together as a team. My goal is to cultivate a warm, grounded, and comfortable environment where you feel like you have a steadfast advocate in your corner. I balance gentle, compassionate validation with the kind of thoughtful accountability that helps you make long-term, meaningful changes.
Depending on your unique needs, I draw from a variety of evidence-based frameworks:
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP) for specialized anxiety and OCD patterns
Motivational Interviewing (MI) & Solution-Focused Therapy for actionable goal-setting
My Clinical Specialties
AuDHD, Autism & ADHD: Affirming, neurodiversity-positive care for teens and adults navigating executive dysfunction, burnout, and late-diagnosis processing.
Anxiety, Mood Disorders & Dual Diagnosis: Helping you navigate panic, chronic worry, depression, and complex co-occurring challenges.
LGBTQIA+ & Identity Work: Safe, supportive care for identity exploration, self-acceptance, and boundary setting.
Relationships & Dyads: Couples counseling and two-person family dynamics focused on repair, communication, and mutual understanding.
What to Expect & The Environment We’ll Build Together
Therapy with me is built on safety, authentic human connection, and absolute non-judgment, a place where you can step out of "survival mode" and drop the burden of having to perform for everyone else. In our work, we’ll move beyond just talking about your struggles to building tangible, real-world outcomes: unlearning chronic people-pleasing, developing tailored executive-functioning tools for neurodivergent brains, untangling anxious thought loops, and setting firm, guilt-free boundaries in your relationships. My ultimate goal is for you to walk away from our sessions feeling deeply understood, equipped with practical tools for long-term emotional resilience, and confident in your ability to trust yourself through any season of life.
Getting to Know Me
When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m almost always outdoors! I'm an amateur runner (I've completed two half-marathons so far) and love hiking with my dog, Enzo. At home, you’ll find me tending to my garden of vegetables, flowers, and indoor plants, practicing my newly self-taught crochet skills, or getting lost in a good book… and yes, I will almost certainly offer you an unsolicited reading recommendation
