Grief Therapy
Grief is one of the hardest emotions to feel and it can be very complicated. Emotions are often surprising and confusing. One person may find themselves grieving a painful relationship or breakup. Another may mourn a loved one but at the same time feel relief that the person is no longer suffering.
Grieving behaviors can vary, some find comfort in sharing their feelings and other people may prefer to be alone, engaging in different expressive things like music, writing, or exercising.
No one way of grieving is better than any other. It is normal for some people to be more emotional and dive into their feelings, while others are stoic and may seek distraction from dwelling on an unchangeable fact of living. Every individual has unique needs when coping with loss.
