    Meet Caroline (she/her)

    Psychotherapist LCPC – Maryland

Insurances: Aetna, UHC, Cigna, Kaiser, Johns Hopkins & BCBS

Hi, I’m Caroline! I believe that every individual has the capacity for healing and personal growth, and it’s my privilege to be a guide on that journey. I’ve been inspired throughout my life by stories of resilience and emotional healing, and I became a therapist to be a supportive presence for others as they navigate life’s challenges. In our sessions, my primary focus is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, process past traumas, and react to life’s stressors without fear. I deeply value the therapeutic relationship and will work with you at your own pace, empowering you to gain insight, practice self-compassion, and achieve meaningful personal change.

    Therapeutic Approach

I use an eclectic approach that is tailored to your unique needs. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including interpersonal process therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and internal family systems-informed interventions. This allows me to be flexible and collaborative, ensuring our work together is effective and feels right for you.

    Areas of Specialization

I particularly enjoy working with high-achieving, highly intelligent women (in academia, college/grad students, government employees), people involved in divorce or separation (children and parents), and those experiencing other life transitions, grief, and mood disorders like depression and anxiety. I also specialize in working with children and adults with ADHD.

I am comfortable working with clients ages 12 and up and am open to couples and family counseling on a case-by-case basis. While I am still gaining experience with more complex cases, I welcome opportunities to learn and collaborate with clients who have experienced trauma or eating disorders.

    A Little About Me

Outside of work, I like to bake (and elaborately decorate my creations!), go for walks, read, try new restaurants, and spend time with friends. When time permits, I enjoy concerts and theater performances, as well as traveling. I am also so excited to have recently rescued a pair of guinea pigs and love to dote on them!

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and self-discovery, I invite you to connect with me. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.
