A Partner in Your Journey
Hi, I’m Rain (he/him). I understand that finding the right person to talk to can feel pretty challenging. It’s not just about finding someone who is affirming, but someone who seeks to understand the nuances of your life, relationships, and identity without you having to teach them. My own path to becoming a therapist was driven by the desire to create this exact kind of space—a place where you can be fully yourself, feel deeply heard and seen, and find steady support on your journey.
I love the deeply personal and individualized nature of this work, because it allows me to walk alongside people as they navigate their own paths. I believe that therapy should be a collaborative journey, whether you’re exploring your identity, navigating relationships, or facing other life challenges. I’m here to offer a warm and gentle presence and to meet you right where you are.
My Approach
My therapeutic approach is humanistic and gentle, and we will work together to find the approaches and goals that feel most useful to you. I draw from various techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
Central to my work is centering an anti-oppressive/anti-racist as well as a harm reduction lens. We will acknowledge and understand how systems and societal forces impact both individuals and communities, and how this affects your mental wellbeing. This feels particularly crucial to me, as I know that the challenges we face are often rooted in the world around us.
I specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, with a specific focus on transgender clients and the exploration of gender identity. Additionally, I welcome non-monogamous/polyamorous folks and those from kink communities, and I operate from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. I also provide support for individuals with substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, Autism and ADHD. I work with clients ages 18 and older and primarily provide individual therapy.

More About Me
When I’m not in session, you can find me crafting with found and upcycled materials. I love to make mini zines (tiny booklets!), linocuts (homemade stamps), and paper crafts for my pen pals. I also love to go thrifting and explore oddity markets, and can often be found with my incredibly tiny dog by my side! My creative side informs my work, and I am drawn to finding unexpected possibilities and perspectives.
