About Me
My name is Kim, and I’m a licensed therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and find their path to well-being. My own transition from the corporate world to the mental health field was driven by a deep desire to make a meaningful contribution to my community. I believe everyone has the potential for growth and healing, and I consider it a privilege to be part of that journey with my clients.
My Approach
I offer a calm, supportive, and authentic space for therapy. My approach is client-centered and rooted in Humanistic principles, meaning I believe you have the inner resources to grow and heal.
I often incorporate techniques from a variety of therapeutic modalities to help you gain insights, develop coping mechanisms, and create lasting change. This includes:
Gestalt therapy to increase awareness of your present-moment experience.
Solutions-Focused therapy to help you identify and build on your strengths.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help process and heal from the impact of traumatic or distressing life experiences.
