From Silence to Support
Growing up in environments where conversations about emotional well-being were often absent, I recognized early on how essential mental wellness is to our survival, even before I had the words to describe it. I became a therapist to break that silence. I believe that a strong, healthy internal foundation is critical to navigating life’s challenges, and everyone deserves a space where they feel supported, understood, and equipped to care for their soul. My work is defined by three core pillars: I am hopeful, supportive, and transformative.
A Holistic & Culturally Attuned Approach
My therapeutic approach is holistic and compassionate. I don’t just look at symptoms; I look at the whole person—including your relationships, culture, genetics, and environment. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental sanctuary where you can feel truly seen and heard.
Our work together is collaborative. I meet you exactly where you are, gently guiding you toward greater self-awareness and emotional balance. By integrating evidence-based practices with a person-centered perspective, I empower you to explore your thoughts and patterns at a pace that feels safe for you.
Areas of Specialization
I specialize in supporting young adults and seniors, as well as a limited number of adolescents. My clinical focus includes:
Women’s Mental Health: Including postpartum depression and navigating the unique transitions of womanhood.
Boundaries & Codependency: Helping you reclaim your autonomy and build healthier relational patterns.
Anxiety, Depression, & Stress Management: Developing practical coping strategies to manage the weight of daily life.
Trauma-Informed Care: Providing a stable foundation for healing from past experiences.
Beyond the Session
I bring a deep appreciation for the diverse ways culture and lived experience shape our mental health. This is reflected in the fact that I speak five languages, allowing me to connect with and honor the unique stories of individuals across different communities. When I’m not in the office, you can find me traveling to discover new perspectives, lost in the pages of a great book, or enjoying a meaningful conversation over a good meal. I believe in finding small moments of joy every day, and I bring that same intentionality and warmth into our therapeutic work.
